  • ARE OUT OF STATE MEDICAL CARDS ACCEPTED?

Patients from the following states can simply bring their State ID and Medical Certification card:

• Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas

• California, Connecticut

• Florida

• Hawaii

• Illinois, Iowa

• Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana

• Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota

• Oklahoma, Oregon

• Rhode Island

• Utah

• Vermont, Virginia

• Washington & Washington, DC

Patients MUST have their certification from the state they live in, either physically or virtually present. (The State ID/Drivers License and Medical Certification must be from the same state.) Out of state patients are permitted to purchase 2.5 ounces of cannabis every 15 days. Cannabis products are not allowed to be brought across state lines.

If you are not from a State listed above, however, you must meet these three conditions.

1.Their home state drivers license or state ID

2.Their home state cannabis certification

3.The tamper evident state of Maine visiting qualifying patient form that has been signed by their home state doctor. Ask your doctor to obtain this form by contacting the Maine Medical Marijuana Program Division at (207) 287-3382 or (207) 287-9330.

  • HOW MANY CANNABIS PLANTS AM I ALLOWED TO KEEP?

Under recreational law Maine residents 21 years or older are permitted to cultivate up to 3 mature cannabis plants, up to 12 immature cannabis plants, and an unlimited number of seedlings for personal use.

Under Maine's Medical program a patient is allowed no more than 6 mature plants, 12 immature plants, and an unlimited number of seedlings measured below 12" wide, and/or 12" tall.

  • WHAT DOCUMENTATION DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME?

Maine Medical Cannabis patients must always bring their state issued certification cards AND a valid Maine state ID.

(The only 2 forms of identification legally accepted are either a Maine state ID, or Maine state drivers license).

The following forms of identification are able to be used in Adult Use: State issued ID, passport book, or passport card.

All identification for Medical and Adult Use must be valid, legible, and presented to budtenders upon entry.

  • IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE AMOUNT OF CANNABIS I CAN PURCHASE?

Each Maine Medical Cannabis patient may buy up to 2.5 Oz of cannabis per purchase. Patient's may possess up to 2.5 ounces on their person.

Adult Use customers may purchase 2.5 ounces per day. Within that 2.5 ounce limit, is a 10 gram concentrated product limit. This pertains to cartridges, concentrates, and all edibles/ingestibles.

  • WHERE IS CANNABIS NOT ALLOWED?

Cannabis is not allowed on school property, public areas, or while operating/riding in a motor vehicle.

  • WHERE CAN I CONSUME CANNABIS?

Cannabis can be used lawfully within private residences.

  • WHEN WILL RECREATIONAL CANNABIS BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

  • DOES HIGHBROW SELL CLONES OR SEEDS?

At this time Highbrow does not offer clones or seeds for purchase.
